Me? I’m John and I navigate. Which is important, because this blog started with us driving cross country from San Rafael, CA to New Britain, CT – with our two children (Teddy, aka John Edward Franklin IV, age 7; and Quinn, aka Saucy Empress, age 5) AND our two dogs (Kingsley Amis Frankin and Oonagh The Red Dragon Geraldine Franklin).

What’s that smell? Fireworks? Maybe it’s freedom, the freedom you can only feel in Amerrica, on the road.
More likely it’s our gassy dogs.
