8:30 am, Philadelphia, PA. We’re getting good at this packing thing.
Have I mentioned the Sher-Pak (TM)? Yes, I think I have. It’s great, if you want to have the option of moving pieces of luggage around, independent of the whole. You can’t lock it, but when its fully battened down, short of taking a knife to it, it would be pretty hard to get something out.
Any rate, getting the car ready every day makes me feel hilariously manly, in a 1950’s kind of way. I feel like “packing up the car,” in fact, is likely a entry somewhere in the awesome blog “The Art of Manliness.” Arranging modules inside a large module; standing delicately on a wheel well; messing around – and instructing an interested Teddy – with all the straps, etc.
Fitting in laundry – and odd-shaped things like a Vita-Mix, coloring books and cowboy boots.
Old fashioned fun.
